We get many inquires about combining subjects from multiple photos. Here are some of my creations and the photos that were sent for me to work with. Both clients gave me full artistic latitude during the creation process, which I really appreciate.

I don't know if you remember me, but you did two sketches for me about 5-6 years ago. I believe you lived in Auburn at the time.
One was of my daughter, who is now 25, kneeling down with a soccer ball on her knee. The other was my son now 18, running the bases after his first homerun. Anyway, we have had much pleasure owning these sketches over the years."

James Geddes Photography was kind enough to shoot a days worth of soccer matches at our annual tournament this summer. I found about a dozen shots of my child I simply fell in love with and ordered a P4 poster and a 12"X16" color sketch. When I met James to pick up the order I was in awe. There's no way to truly know how much better these were going to look in person compared to my expectations based on the samples shown on the website. These one-of-a-kind pieces are priceless and truly capture the spirit of our daughter. I simply cannot convey how pleased we are with these pieces. Phenomenal!

If the photos are out of focus then there is a loss of detail as well.... The clearer the photos, the better the sketch. Photos with heavy backlight or heavy shadow on the face are more difficult to work with. If the photo is dark or overexposed, I cannot pull necessary detail from the image. Digital negatives work better for these more challenging files.

If I cannot create a quality sketch, we will call to discuss options and we may return your photo and money. We are proud of our sketches and stand behind our work!
