Many of the art pieces I create require a bit more tweaking to clarify color and detail. For this, I further treat the print with pastels, charcoal and colored polychromos pencils.

Displayed sketches are KEY to selling the product. 16x20s that are framed under glass in a location that people can look at them will bring in sales.

I find that about 25% of my sales are generated from sketches and 25% comes from collage sales. I also notice that each year that percentage goes up within the same group (leagues or tourneys for instance).
Many of those who don't buy, want to purchase and plan for it the following year. I also find that we have many inquiries about other sketch subjects while attending sporting events. People also want to know if we can work from their photograph or digital file. In either case, GET THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS... don't rely on them to call you. You will need to follow up.

HOW DOES IT WORK

All of us want to offer something unique and something that has mass appeal. If you carry a product purchased on the internet, your competition probably has it too... We do not intend nor can we "flood" the market with our artwork. It is created by hand. We are looking to support a network of photographers in multiple urban and metropolitan areas. We will offer an exclusive "trial period" to be sure that our product is a good fit for your clientele and that you are a good fit for our team. We want to be sure that you are actively selling our product for your area (which we award exclusively per capita). And of course you want to be sure you can sell the sketches as well.

REQUIREMENTS

We require that you purchase one 16x20 sketch (single subject of your choice), at a wholesale price. We will provide you with a second print (our choice) at no charge. After receiving the sketches you must frame and display them with the sales info. You can set your price. You collect the payment from your client and send us payment for the wholesale sketch and shipping. We will drop ship the sketch via priority mail or send it back to you.

I do offer  works in the traditional mediums as well as watercolor on an individual basis. The price for these works is based on the hours they will take to complete and generally run into the hundreds of dollars.
